Dr. Mohamed Elgaoud named first of three new physicians coming to Fairview

Alberta Health Services (AHS) says Dr. Mohamed Elgaoud is one of three new physicians coming to Fairview.

Dr. Elgaoud is practicing out of the Fairview Medical Clinic and will also treat patients at the Fairview Health Complex.

“I’d like to welcome Dr. Elgaoud to the community. Family physicians are the cornerstone of health care, especially in rural communities,” said Health Minister Tyler Shandro in a news release from AHS.

“His arrival will help support the health and wellness of residents and families in Fairview, as well as provide more stable physician coverage in the Fairview Health Complex emergency department,”

That same release also says that two more family doctors are expected to start practicing in Fairview this fall. More information on that will be released later.
