Construction on 100 Street from 128 Avenue to city limits starts Monday

On July 26 construction will begin on 100 Street from south of the 128 Avenue intersection to the northern city limits in both the north and southbound lanes.
Construction includes the repair and replacement of underground infrastructure, followed by geometric upgrades at the 100 Street and 132 Avenue intersection that will include the installation of three dedicated right-turn lanes and the replacement of traffic signals.
Milling and paving, line painting, grading and landscaping will also take place.
Construction is anticipated to last until mid-September, and drivers can expect delays while travelling through the area, which will be down to one-lane, alternating traffic.
