Annual roadside cleanup kicks off in the County
Drivers on the roads in the County are asked to slow down and use caution as the annual roadside cleanup has kicked off.
Local non-profit groups will be cleaning up litter in the ditch between August 4 up until September 13.
The County says although cleanup crews will be wearing safety vests, they are encouraging drivers to keep their eyes out for volunteers and obey roadside signs.
Last year, 30 groups cleaned 283 km of County roads, raising $57,060 to support their groups.
