Grande Prairie adds 40 new COVID-19 cases, 26 recoveries
The City of Grande Prairie added 40 new cases of COVID-19, along with 26 recoveries for Wednesday, September 1, bringing the active case total in the Swan City up by 14 to 491.
In the County of Grande Prairie, active COVID-19 cases decreased by six to 180.
Across Alberta, there were 1,339 new cases identified Wednesday, following the completion of 12,416 tests. Those tests had a positivity rate of 10.8 per cent.
There are currently 12,868 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
