Storm fall to Grizzlys in pre-season opener

Grande Prairie Storm raised the curtain on their five game AJHL pre-season schedule on Saturday night, dropping a 4-3 decision to the Olds Grizzlys.

True Crowe, Jacob Paler-Chow, Dawson Leroux, and Stephen Rosier scored for Olds, who led 4-3 after two periods, after the teams were tied at one after the first.

Kaiden Skulmoski, Alex Bernauer, and Ethan Strang replied for the Storm, who scored all three of their goals on the power play.

Rookie Nolan McDowell made 25 saves in the Storm net, while Cody Jaman kicked aside 20 shots for Olds.
