RCMP investigating various commercial fuel truck thefts in northwestern Alberta
Following an increase in various reported attempts of theft of commercial fuel trucks in northwestern Alberta, the McLennan and Peace Regional RCMP are seeking the public’s help in finding out who may be involved, or where a stolen truck could be.
Police say early in the morning on September 5, an unsuccessful attempt was made to steal a fuel truck from the Girouxville CO-OP.
They say shortly after, a water truck was stolen in Falher, where police say the truck was abandoned and recovered the same day. Mounties add the stolen truck had been altered with the company decals burned off and painted over.
