Road work underway in Smith area

City Hall says some road work currently underway in the Smith area will take until the first week of October to complete.

Crews are putting in new asphalt, as well as upgrading the concrete and fixing some sewer infrastructure on 99 and 97 Avenue between 92 A and 93 Street and on 92 A Street between 99 and 96 Avenue.

The work is being done Mondays through Saturdays with access for local traffic only.

The city says there may also be some short-term road closures during the construction period.
