Intersection of 100 Ave & 98 St reopened

The intersection of 100 Avenue and 98 Street has reopened to traffic.

The intersection had been closed since mid-August as part of the Downtown Rehabilitation Project.

The city says construction consisted of excavating up to two metres deep to replace the deep underground utilities including sanitary, water, and storm lines. Crews then backfilled, built the road subsurface, poured concrete curbs and gutters, then paved to roadway.

100 Avenue between 100 Street and 98 Street remains closed as Downtown Rehab work continues.
