Municipal election candidates confirmed in City of Grande Prairie

With the deadline to submit or withdraw nomination forms now passed, the list of candidates of mayor, council and school board trustees for the October 18 municipal election is official in the City of Grande Prairie.

In total, there are four candidates vying for the Mayor’s chair in the Swan City, including:

  • Jackie Clayton
  • Eunice Friesen
  • Glyn Grüner
  • Bryan Petryshyn

There are also 19 candidates running for the eight available council seats, including:

There are 19 candidates seeking one of seven seats on the Board of Trustees for the Grande Prairie Public School Division. These include:

Municipal Election Day in Alberta is Monday, October 18.
