Restriction Exemption Program expanded to more city facilities

The City of Grande Prairie has announced that three more city-owned facilities will be taking part in the Restriction Exemption Program effective immediately.

The Grande Prairie Museum, Heritage Discovery Centre and Leisure Centre will require proof of vaccination from those 12 and older, or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours in order for individuals to attend the facilities.

Youth under the age of 18 participating in sport, recreation and performance activities will be exempt from the program.

Proof is still required for youth who are spectating and using amenities such as restaurants, or participating in mixed adult/youth activities, except for activities where the adult supports the youth, such as parent & tot classes.
