City Budget 2022 Community Engagement sessions now postponed and virtual

The City of Grande Prairie announced in a release that Budget 2022 Community Engagement sessions are being postponed and moved virtually.

The new sessions are:

  • Infrastructure and Economic Development, October 13, from 6 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Includes: Planning and Development, Inspection Services, Energy Management, and Environmental Services, Economic Development, Engineering, Transportation, and Parks.

  • Protective & Social Services, October 14, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Includes: Community Social Development, Enforcement Services, Fire Department.

  • Community Services, October 14, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Includes: Community Knowledge Campus (Eastlink Centre, Coca-Cola Centre, etc.), Sports Development, Wellness and Culture, Transit, Events & Entertainment.

The City says the engagement sessions will be open to all members of the community, although registration is required, which can be found here.

The online engagement for the 2022 Budget will be open for feedback until September 30, which can be found here.
