Grande Prairie RCMP looking to identify suspect in serious persons offence

The Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for the public’s help in identifying a male youth who they say was involved in a serious offence against a vulnerable person earlier this year.

Police say the offence, which was not elaborated on, was reported in March of this year and is alleged to have occurred inside the Walmart in Grande Prairie in February 2021.

They say they Grande Prairie RCMP’s Special Investigation Unit immediately entered into an investigation and have continued to investigate since that report.

A composite sketch of the suspect has been completed and authorities are now hoping the public can help identify them.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, standing 5’3″ tall with a muscular build, bright green hair and a piercing on their right nose
