City council candidates to attend sport and recreation roundtable on Wednesday

Mayoral and council candidates running in the October 18 municipal election have been invited to take part in a roundtable regarding sports and recreation Wednesday evening.

The candidates in the city’s municipal election will be asked a variety of questions relating to the value of sport and recreation in the community, as well as post-COVID recovery solutions and sports tourism.

The virtual event is hosted by Grande Prairie Regional Sports Connection will be taking place on October 6, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. via Zoom.
