The Grande Prairie Storm have named long-time member Nathanial Bierd as their captain for the 2021-22 season.
The Calgary native is in his fourth full season with the Storm. This year, the 20-year-old has been able to register six points in eight games.
Bierd will make his debut with the captaincy on October 8 at home when the Storm host the Drayton Valley Thunder at 7:00.
The Storm currently hold a record of 1-4-1 this season.
