Key COVID-19 metrics falling province-wide, but vigilance still needed: Kenney
EDMONTON – Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says COVID-19 numbers are falling and hospital pressures are easing, but people must remain vigilant against the virus.
He says 75 per cent of intensive care beds are now occupied with COVID-19 patients, which is down from 97 per cent just over six weeks ago.
However, that’s still more than at the peak of any other wave of the pandemic.
Kenney says it will take many more weeks for numbers to decline significantly.
