Starting Monday, two vaccine shots will be required for Restrictions Exemption Program
Anyone looking to attend a business, venue, or service provider that requires proof of vaccination will need to have both of their COVID-19 vaccinations.
The Alberta Government says, starting October 25, anyone aged 12 or older will need to show that they have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior.
When the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) first came into effect on September 20, the requirement was that a person needed to have one shot.
Those who are not yet fully vaccinated can still submit a privately-paid negative COVID-19 test that was completed within 72 hours or a valid proof of medical exemption.
