Grace Period Ending

Business license bylaw grace period ends Dec. 1 in Grande Prairie

Nov 4, 2021 | 3:10 PM

Those businesses which haven’t already done so will need to apply for a business license prior to the end of the grace period ending on December 1 to avoid penalities.

The six-month grace period came into effect on May 1 after changes to the business license bylaw, which mandated all businesses in the city to hold a valid municipal license.

Businesses operating without a license after December 1 may be fined up to $500 per day they are in operation.
