Storm’s Strang named AJHL Player of the Week after five-goal weekend

Grande Prairie Storm forward Ethan Strang has been named the AJHL’s Player of the Week for the week of November 1-7.

The 20-year-old, who is in his fourth and final season with the team, potted five goals and added two assists on the Storm’s recent three-game road trip. Strang also potted his first career hat trick on Sunday in the team’s overtime loss to the Drayton Valley Thunder.

Strang currently leads the team in both goals and points, potting 13 goals and 11 assists through 20 games this season.

Through his Storm career, Strang has scored 39 goals and added 35 assists in 140 career games.
