Celtics, Sabres advance in high school football provincials

Two Mighty Peace Football League teams advanced to their respective North Finals for provincials in high school football on the weekend, and both those finals will be played in Grande Prairie

In Tier 2, St. Joe’s downed Austin O’Brien 35-14.

In Tier 4, Sexsmith beat St. Paul 29-7.

The Sabres will now play Ardrossan in the Tier 4 North Final Saturday, November 19. Game time will be Noon at CKC Field.

The Celtics will take on Leduc in the Tier 2 North Final also on November 20. Kick-off will be at 2:30 p.m. at CKC Field.
