Snowfall warning out for Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area.

The forecast is calling for heavy snow at times with two to four centimetres expected today and another 10 centimetres tonight.

The forecast is also called for an east wind at 30 kilometres an hour with gusts up to 50 today with a northwest wind at 20 gusting to 40 tonight.

The Hinton-Grande Cache, Slave Lake, and Whitecourt-Edson-Fox Creek-Swan Hills forecast areas are under similar warnings, as are the mountain parks, Edmonton, and several other areas around Edmonton. A complete list can be found here.
