The St.Joesph High School Celtics are Tier II provincial champions.

The Celtics knocked off the Holy Trinity Academy Knights from Okotoks 35-19 at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton to win the title.

Quarterback Cade Labrecque completed nine of 13 passes and threw for 180 yards and a touchdown in the win.

St. Joe’s last won the provincial championship back in 2014.

The Celtics will stay in Edmonton overnight and return home Saturday afternoon.
