Police say up to 600-thousand-dollars worth of stolen vehicles have been recovered at a suspected chop shop east of Calgary.
RCMP say a tip about the possible location of a single stolen vehicle led to the recovery of more than a dozen vehicles and trailers outside Chestermere.
The RCMP’s southern Alberta crime reduction unit searched a rural property and found mostly pickup trucks, but also an S-U-V, an all-terrain vehicle and a flat-deck trailer.
Police say two of the vehicles had been stolen from dealerships in Calgary during test drives.
