Storm open southern road swing with a win

Dec 16, 2021 | 8:50 AM

The Grande Prairie Storm did something on Wednesday night that they had yet to do all this season.

That is pick up a win on the road.

The Storm opened a four game in five night southern road trip with a 5-2 win in Canmore over the Eagles.

Ethan Strang scored twice, giving the 20-year-old veteran 20 goals on the season.

Sam Vincent, Edge Lambert, and Ty Toews also scored for the Storm, who picked up their season-high third win a row in the process.

At the other end of the ice, Aidan Feddema made 27 saves to pick up the win in goal for the Storm (8-21-6).

The Storm will continue the road trip Thursday night in Okotoks.
