One dead following semi-truck collision near Whitecourt

A semi driver in northern Alberta has died after RCMP say his rig rear-ended another semi that was hauling compressed natural gas.
Police say it happened yesterday morning at about 8;30 a.m. on Highway 43 west of Whitecourt.
Police said they were still investigating the crash, but reminded motorists to drive cautiously and to the conditions of the roads.
