Dec 23, 2021 | 2:54 PM

The Grande Prairie RCMP is very concerned for the well-being of 33-year-old Shelly Lynn Smith who was reported missing on December 3.

Police say Smith has a medical condition that requires medication, which concerns authorities for her wellbeing and ability to manage on her own.

She was last seen in the area of 101 Avenue and 97 A Street in Grande Prairie on December 1, wearing an off-white down jacket with a fur-lined hood, black or brown zipper boots, and blue jeans.

Mounties say, since then, they have still not been able to locate her and are actively trying to seek information on her whereabouts.

Smith has reportedly been known to travel to areas throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Smith is described by police as:

  • 5’4” tall
  • Average build
  • Chin length brown hair with blonde highlights
  • Wears glasses
