Grande North Winter Festival still going ahead, indoor events cancelled

The City of Grande Prairie has announced it will be proceeding with the outdoor components for the Grande North Winter Festival later this month.

The festival is set for January 14 -16 in the Swan City and is set to be a walkable winter festival downtown.

The City hopes is hoping the festival will create a unique experience centred around snow and ice to embrace the northern winters.

Due to recent COVID-19 restrictions announced by the provincial government, the city says ticketed concerts inside the Bonnetts Energy Centre that are part of the Grande North Winter Festival are cancelled.

All current ticket holders can claim a refund by calling the Box Office at 780-538-0387.
