Fire causes damage to Ivy Lake neighbourhood home

No injuries were reported after a fire heavily damaged a home in the Ivy Lake neighbourhood early Tuesday morning.

City fire crews were called to the scene just before 2:00 a.m. and arrived to see smoke and flames coming from a fully engulfed garage.

They spent several hours extinguishing the fire and keeping it from spreading to nearby homes.

Three people have been displaced because of the blaze.

The cause is not known at this time although investigators are currently on the scene.
