Curling Canada has named its wheelchair curling team for next month’s Beijing Paralympics, and one of the world’s most decorated wheelchair curlers is heading to her fourth winter games.
Former Fort St. John native Ina Forrest was one of five athletes named to the squad Thursday morning.
Forrest won gold at the 2010 games in Vancouver and 2014 games in Sochi, while taking home a bronze at the 2018 Paralympics in PyongChang.
A 12-time participant at the world wheelchair curling championships, Forrest won world titles in 2009, 2011, and 2013, and a silver medal at the 2020 world championships.
