Extreme cold warning ended for Grande Prairie region
UPDATE: The extreme cold warning issued for the Grande Prairie region has ended.
Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for all of northern Alberta, including the City and County of Grande Prairie and M.D. of Greenview.
The weather office says wind chill values will drop to between minus 40-45 degrees Tuesday night.
The wind chill is expected to moderate on Wednesday in most regions, however, far parts of northern Alberta will see the wind chills stay in the minus 40’s Wednesday night as well.
