UPDATE: RCMP locate and return stolen wheelchair to owner

UPDATE: RCMP say they have located the stolen wheelchair and have returned it to its owner. The RCMP thanks the public for their help.

RCMP in Grande Prairie is looking for the public’s help in locating a stolen wheelchair.

It was stolen sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on January 29 from a parking lot near 123 Avenue and 97A Street in the Scenic Ridge neighbourhood.

The manual wheelchair is described as blue with a black finger guard and a custom painting of a desert scene, with mountains and wolf depicted on the wheels of the wheelchair.
