Motorists asked to avoid Range Road 72 & Township Road 714 area due to heavy police presence

The Grande Prairie RCMP says there is currently a heavy police presence in the area of Range Road 72 and Township Road 714.

Police say they’re investigating an incident in the area. Mounties are urging motorists to avoid the area. If you’re in the area, police ask you do not post any photos or details of police activity on social media until the incident has been resolved.

Police say they will provide another update when more information becomes available.
