Whitecourt man wins $110,000 in Lotto 6/49 draw

Whitecourt’s Dylan Savage is $110,907.10 richer after winning the December 25 Lotto 6/49 draw.

“I checked my ticket on the Lotto Spot app,” he said while claiming his prize. “I was – and still am – pretty excited!”

Savage says he plans on using the money to pay some bills and finish some home renovations. His wife also says she would like to take a family vacation at some point.

Savage purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket at the Whitecourt IGA located at 4802 51 Street in Whitecourt. He shared the game’s second-highest prize with two other tickets purchased somewhere in Ontario.
