Alberta COVID-19 related hospitalizations continue to drop, local numbers not updated

Alberta Health says it recorded 2,110 new cases of COVID-19 from Feb. 18-21.

Due to technical issues, the province says it was unable to provide its full COVID-19 report, which includes local numbers. It hopes local numbers will be updated tomorrow.

The province did say hospitalizations are continuing to drop across the province. There are 1,380 people with COVID-19 in hospital (down 114 from Feb. 17), while the number of people in ICU fell by 21 to 95.

The COVID-19 death toll was not updated during Tuesday’s update.
