Bierd named finalist for AJHL’s Most Dedicated Player Award

Grande Prairie Storm forward and captain Nathanial Bierd has been named as a finalist by the AJHL for the 2021-22 Most Dedicated Player Award.

The Calgary native is in his final year of Junior A hockey and has spent his entire career with the Storm.

This season, Bierd has registered a career-high 62 points in 57 games, which is by far his best season in the AJHL. His previous career-high for points in a season was 22 in 53 games back in 2019-20.

The nominees were selected by the league’s general managers and coaches. Winners will be determined through a final stage of voting and announced after the AJHL regular season.
