Grande Prairie records 26 recovered COVID-19 cases, eight new
The City of Grande Prairie recorded 26 COVID-19 recoveries and eight new cases from February 23. There are 171 active cases in the city.
In the County of Grande Prairie there were three recoveries and four new cases identified Wednesday. There are 145 active cases in the county.
Over the last 24 hours, Alberta added 682 new cases from 3,436 tests, resulting in a test positivity rate of 19.8 per cent. There are currently 10,626 active cases in the province.
Provincial officials say with the rollout of rapid tests to most households, the actual number of new COVID-19 infections in the province is likely higher than what is being reported.
