Kinderwater to represent Canada at Junior European Cup in Portugal

Grande Prairie’s Sydney Kinderwater will be representing Canada at the 2021 Judo European Cup in Coimbra, Portugal later this month.
Kinderwater is one of 20 judo athletes from across the country who will be representing the maple leaf at the international competition that takes place March 19-20.
Kinderwater will participate in the 63kg division. The division features 18 different athletes from around the world.
The invitation to an international championship is just the latest achievement for Kinderwater. In 2021, she was invited to national training camp in Lethbridge where she got to train with 2020 Olympic bronze medalists Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard and Jessica Klimkait.
