Two people hospitalized after crash downtown Tuesday, no charges to be laid

Mar 9, 2022 | 4:23 PM

Grande Prairie RCMP say two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a collision downtown Tuesday afternoon.

They say a white SUV going south on 100 Street between 101 and 100 Avenues went onto the sidewalk, hit a building, a gas line, and a 65-year-old female pedestrian.

It then went back onto 100 Street where it struck a black SUV before stopping.

The pedestrian and the 22-year-old male driver of the white SUV were both taken to hospital. The other driver was not hurt.
