More year-end hardware has been presented to Spirit River’s Nolan Yaremko.
A week after he was named to the Canada West U-Sports Men’s hockey First-Team All-Stars, the Mount Royal University forward was named both the league’s Player of the Year and its most gentlemanly player on Thursday.
Yaremko led all league scorers with 19 goals and 39 points this past season and becomes the first men’s player from MRU to earn Player of the Year honours.
