Grande Prairie records two COVID-19 related deaths over weekend, 17 new cases
Grande Prairie recorded a total of two COVID-19 related deaths from Mar. 11-13. The deaths were two of 18 reported by the province over the weekend. To date, 4,021 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported by the province.
Meantime, the City of Grande Prairie recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases and 12 recoveries over the weekend. There are 81 active cases in the city.
In the County of Grande Prairie, there were nine new COVID-19 cases and 13 recoveries identified. There are now 45 active cases in that region.
Alberta added 1,351 new cases from 6,769 tests, resulting in a test positivity rate of 19.9 per cent. There are currently 6,6640 active cases in the province.
