Huskies even up NWJHL final

Kurtis Lee and Brandon Modde each recorded three points to pace the Fort St John Huskies to a 6-4 win over the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings on Tuesday night.

Lee had two goals and an assist, while Modde chipped in with a goal and two assists, as the Huskies tied up the best-of-seven championship series at two wins each.

Nathan Brownlee, Dawson Phillips, and Aaron Hladiuk also scored for the Huskies, who led 1-0 after the first.

The game was tied at three through 40 minutes.
