Sexsmith Bulk Water Station reopens for public use

After closing over three months ago, Aquatera has reopened the Sexsmith Bulk Water Station.

The station has been closed since December 23, due to ice build-up on the concrete pads caused by the cold weather conditions.

In a release, it says the ice build-up created hazardous safety conditions for customers, and communities, and employees, which in turn, led to the temporary closure of the station.

Aquatera says they will be assessing safety solutions to be implemented prior to the 2022/2023 winter season, including a heated pad.
