Grande Prairie records four opioid-related deaths in January

Alberta Health says Grande Prairie recorded four opioid-related deaths in the month of January.

The four deaths in the Swan City were related to non-pharmaceutical opioids.

Across Alberta, there was a total of 158 opioid-related deaths in the province, down from 177 recorded in December 2021. All of the opioid-related deaths this past month were caused by non-pharmaceutical opioids.
