The Grande Prairie RCMP says it is continuing its investigation of a drug seizure robbery that occurred back on Feb. 26 in the area of 97 Avenue and 99 Street.

On that day in February, police conducted a search warrant of a residence which led to the seizure of various drugs and drug trafficking items.

Mounties say at 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 26, they received a 911 call of a robbery that had just occurred at a residence in the area of 97 Avenue and 99 Street.

A preliminary investigation into the matter found that three individuals attended the residence, and while inside, authorities explain that a suspect took out a firearm, threatened the male and obtained a quantity of Canadian currency.

Police say the altercation resulted in the resident being sprayed with bear mace before the three suspects fled on foot. One was captured, while two others were able to get away.

Police now have information on the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in locating two males.

One male was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, with an orange and black jacket and black pants.

The second suspect was spotted last wearing a grey jacket, grey pants and had a grey shoulder bag.
