Fourteen local football players picked for Bantam Showcase

A bunch of players from the Peace will be on the two Edmonton North teams that will take part in Football Alberta’s Bantam Showcase.

The Edmonton Golden Bears will include eight members of the Grande Prairie Broncos. They are Cohen Boucher, Phoenix Fai, Thomas Lee, Dylan Morin, Maddyn Morin, Gage Noel, Nicolas Pierce, and Jaiden Walsh.

They will be joined by Tristan Chalifoux of the Grande Prairie Norseman.

The Edmonton Wildcats team will include two Wembley Bulldogs, Austin Hamel-Sharpe and Ethan Hartman, J Yates of the Sexsmith Shamrocks, and two more players from the Grande Prairie Broncos, Koen Matheson and Trentan Piepgrass.

The Bantam Showcase will be played May long weekend in Red Deer. Six teams from around Alberta will be taking part.
