Access to O’Brien Provincial Park closed after signs of bear activity

Alberta Fish and Wildlife has closed access to O’Brien Provincial Park located on the Wapiti River south of Grande Prairie.

The closure comes after Grande Prairie RCMP reported bear activity in the area.

Police say they were called out on Tuesday to help rescue a dog that had fallen down an embankment.

The dog was rescued and was not hurt.
