Local curler joins Golden Bears

Grande Prairie’s Owen Fenske will be joining the University of Alberta curling program for the 2022-23 season.

He will play for the Golden Bears Juniors.

Fenske won a gold ulu at the 2018 Arctic Winter Games and has twice won silver medals at the Alberta U18 Championship.

He had played third on his previous teams but will play lead for the Golden Bears.
