Internal review being done after kneeing incident during an arrest in High Level
R-C-M-P in northern Alberta say they are conducting an internal review after a video surfaced online that shows a Mountie kneeing a man several times in the head during an arrest.
Chief Superintendent Sean Curry says R-C-M-P in High Level received a complaint about several intoxicated people causing a disturbance at a hotel.
He says an officer responded to the call and identified a man as the alleged instigator of the disturbance.
Curry confirms the video posted on social media shows part of the encounter.
