Two men charged after drug seizure in Peace River

Two people are facing charges after a drug seizure in Peace River.
Peace Regional RCMP says an investigation that started in March led to searches of a home, business, and vehicle in Peace River on May 5.
Just over five ounces of cocaine, 95,000 contraband cigarettes, a loaded handgun, and more than $30,000 cash were all seized.
27-year-old Ryan Alexander Cardinal of St. Isidore and 30-year-old Justin Jesse Christian of Peace River are both facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
