City Assessors to canvas Grande Prairie neighborhoods

Starting the week of May 24, The City of Grande Prairie will be canvassing neighborhoods to update the property photo archive and to update tax assessment records.

Assessors will not only take photos of homes but do exterior property inspections and make sure data is up to date.

The neighborhoods being canvased this year are:

• Royal Oaks

• Northridge

The photos and inspections are done every five years to update files and record any changes to the property.

All city assessors will be in City of Grande Prairie vehicles and have ID badges on their person. Canvassing will happen until late August.
