More rain on the weekend than for all of the month of May

MEDICINE HAT — A much-needed soaker dropped more rain on Medicine Hat on the weekend, than was received in all of the month of May.

Environment Canada reports just under 32 mm of rain had fallen on Medicine Hat up to midnight last night.

10.4 mm was recorded on Saturday at the Medicine Hat airport, with another 21.5 mm of rain up to midnight Sunday.

For the entire month of May, the city’s precipitation total was 28.2 mm.
